The Art of Perception is an innovative spin on the traditional art show, blending contemporary urban art with hip hop culture. Many times, contemporary artists and artist collectives with an urban background are overlooked by traditional art galleries and showcases. AOP has allowed those artists the opportunity to display their talents and express themselves through their crafts. DJ’s, who are usually confined to the musical format of the venue in which they are performing, are given the opportunity to express themselves completely and freely.Art collectors and enthusiasts are able to view thought provoking pieces of art, while they enjoy the sounds produced by the best DJ’s of the area.
